I am a Brazilian-born documentary filmmaker with a background in journalism. I am drawn to real stories and the complexity of people’s lives.

My work is rooted in observation and trust. I believe storytelling carries an ethical responsibility - to approach each person with honesty, patience and respect, and to honor their truth without shaping it for convenience.

I am especially interested in stories of identity, belonging, resilience and personal transformation.

My work has received a New York Emmy Award and has been featured in the media, including Yahoo News.
