I am a Brazilian-born journalist, documentary filmmaker, photographer, and MBA graduate, now working in Buffalo, New York. If I had to choose just one word to describe me, however, I would say “storyteller". I believe stories bring people together and can create a positive impact in the world.
I've spent the last 10 years perfecting my craft in filmmaking. Along the way, I've picked up a couple of the prestigious Telly Awards and even got certified by Brand Storytelling on Purpose-Driven Storytelling. My work is all about helping nonprofits raise funds, getting businesses to click with their clients, and sharing people's missions with the world.
For as far as I can remember…
…I’ve grown up hearing stories in my family. We used to spend every Saturday at my grandparents house, who were Holocaust survivors that ended up in Brazil. There was never a shortage of good food and stories from the past - sometimes hard to hear. Only many years later I truly comprehended how my upbringing shaped me into who I am today. Unfortunately I failed to register my grandparents lives on film, however years after they passed, I was able to tell stories of other survivors - which has been very cathartic.
